Entry Fees & Refunds
Championship Entry Fee – $160
All Cart/Range fees will be paid by the SCGA to the host club at Qualifying & Championship sites. A $25.00 administration fee will be charged for all refunds until the day prior to the Championship or Qualifiying Date.  No refunds for any reason for a withdraw on the Qualifying date or the Championship.

USGA rules apply, 72-hole stroke play to determine Champion. There will be a 36-hole cut to the low 70 plus ties.

Pace of Play:
Pace of play is always important in our Championships, but never as much so as in the Amateur. As challenging as Chanticleer can be, we have to do our best as a group during those four days to keep play moving. We have tee times running each of the first two days until 1:40 p.m. Please be prepared to do your part in keeping up with the allotted pace set for each round.

“READY GOLF” will be expected of each participant.

Golf Cart, Caddie & Spectator Policies
Golf Carts:  Championship site cart fees will be paid by the SCGA and are included in the entry fee.  Competitors have the option to either walk or use a cart during the Championship rounds.  Carts will be limited to the minimum number need for each group.

Caddie Policy:  Caddies are allowed for the Championship and must be provided the player themselves.  Caddies will not be available at the host club.

Caddie & Spectator Policy:  During the play of a hole, either the player or his caddie may ride in a golf cart but not both at the same time.  Spectators are required to walk and may not ride in an “empty seat”. Spectator carts will not be rented unless a valid SC Handicap issued ID is presented upon arrival.

The Field will consist of year 2015 qualifiers and players exempt under above guidelines entering prior to deadline.

Dress Code
The dress code applies to all levels of the Championship. No jeans, cut offs, or shirts without collars allowed. Contestants in violation may be asked to leave the golf course.
